since my last post

Much has happened since I last blogged...
-I finished my first semester of nursing school
-tony started and completed four jobs
-we had our second Christmas together as a married couple
-the bickmore fam came to town
-we saw two fabulous movies (Sherlock and MI4)
-I competed in my first Crossfit competition
-tony finally got a new iPhone (his screen has been cracked since may!)
-our puppy has grown TONS and is now looking more like a dog and less of a puppy
-tony and I signed up for a couples crossfit competition for this weekend
-we attended many fun Christmas parties
-we have spent tons of time catching up with family and friends
-my best friend had a birthday AND came to visit
-my other best friend announced that she is pregnant!

So many fun and exciting things happening in our lives and the lives of our friends and family! Such an amazing time of year!

go to the festival of trees

see my family

be 1/4 of the way done with nursing school

relax

stop living in the library

get in the christmas spirit

have my life back!!

Happy birthday to my darling mom!! My mother is many wonderful things...my biggest cheerleader, my best friend, my confidant, my teacher, my favorite person to run errands with, my example of goodness, my spiritual foundation, my mood booster, and so much more! She is kind and beautiful and anyone who knows her can see that she is good through and through. We have this friendship that I can't quite explain. Ever since I was little I remember just loving to be around her. She is by far the most talented woman around and we often joke about the fact that she can do anything, and everything she does, she does well. I think the thing I love very most about her though is her heart. She is constantly doing things for others and she has the greatest moral compass. I love you mom and I hope this birthday is one of the best yet!

things that are making me smile as of late...
-Christmas music on the radio (don't even judge me)
-tony being home during the day
-having days off of school
-hanging with friends (aka the greatest app ever made)
-one tree hill reruns on netflix
-pumpkin spice plug in
-acorn squash soup
-the thought of my new sorrels coming tomorrow
-jax and trapper finally deciding to be buddies
-fresh hard boiled eggs from our
chickens
-thinking of the holidays
-oatmeal with vanilla and cinnamon
-boots and scarves
-remembering that there is only one month until the semester is over
-spending time with my girl abs before she leaves me to be glam in nyc
-sonic happy hour
-being amazed that I have yet to indulge in a bag of candy cane kisses (last year I probably had eaten 5 bags by now!)
-my warm bed that I never want to get out of in the morning

I love this time of year! There are so many things to be happy about!

Saturday crafts

Had a VERY crafty day today! Started out at Tonys grandmas for a little girls afternoon. We had lunch and made these darling little trinket boxes. Then tonight while the men were off at priesthood my mom, nana, and sisters got together to make these cute wreaths that I have been wanting to make forever. Pretty cute right?

Just peachy

Our peaches are finally ripe and ready to eat. They are so delish. Sweet, juicy, scrumptious. Basically the perfect way to move from summer to fall!

Moll

Happy birthday to this beauty yesterday! Mollie is my very best friend and happens to be my sister too! It works out really well. This gal is fabulous and anyone who knows her can't help but love her. She is such a good loyal friend, she is honest and pure in heart, and she is a fabulous listener. The thing I love very most about moll though is the amazing example she has been and continues to be for me. When I grow up I want to be like Mollie. She is the greatest mom and the best homemaker. My favorite kind of days are the ones I get to spend with Mollie going to target, chatting on her front porch, or catching up on some of our fave shows. I love this girl with all of my heart. Happy birthday moll doll!!

Egg

Guess what! We got our first egg from our chickens today! Such an exciting day. We can't wait for many more to come. Yay!!

Fair

We went to the fair this week. We were fair virgins and let me tell you, we loved it. How can you not love something with rides, games, midget women, trashy folk (aka the mulcocks), square dancing senior citizens, and fried food galore! Joke about matt and masha. They met us there and we had a grand old time. Thanks Utah state fair. And thanks good things Utah for the free tickets.

Rascal

We had such a fabulous time at the rascal flatts concert. Let's be real, they are amazing! And they played so many of my favorites! We sang and danced the night away. Such a great night with my two very best friends!

rosa babe

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my beautiful, kind, loyal, hilarious best friend Rosa! I met rosie down at BYU in the dorms our freshman year and we have been the best of friends ever since. I love this girl with my whole entire heart. She is such a great friend and I know this sounds cliche but it is true. We have too many memories to count together and so instead of trying to name them all, i will let pictures do the talking! Rosie babe I hope you have a fabulous day! I love you to the moon and back!
